Why Leopards Tracking Gets Stuck

Before trying any fix, it helps to understand why LCS tracking stops updating. There are four main causes:

🕐

System Lag

LCS hubs batch-upload scan data at intervals, not in real time. A 4–12 hour delay between a physical scan and the online update is normal.

📅

Weekend & Holiday Delay

Scanning and sorting operations run at reduced capacity on Sundays and public holidays. Status updates pause and resume on the next working day.

🏭

Hub Processing Time

Large sorting hubs — especially LCS3 in Lahore — handle millions of parcels. Sorting queues can hold a parcel for 24–48 hours during peak periods.

📍

Address or Contact Issue

If the delivery address is incomplete or the recipient's phone is off, a rider may mark a failed attempt without a digital scan being uploaded promptly.

Quick Diagnosis

Booked less than 24 hrs ago?

Normal. First scan takes 12–24 hrs.

In intercity transit?

Normal. Scans only at hubs (12–36 hr gaps).

At a hub for 48+ hrs?

Not normal. Call LCS helpline now.

Fix 1: Wait 24 Hours — Scanning Gaps Are Normal

Most Common

The single most common reason Leopards tracking appears stuck is that the parcel is in a normal gap period. Leopards Courier does not scan parcels continuously — scans only occur at physical hub checkpoints. During road transit between cities, no updates are generated.

  • First scan after booking: 12–24 hours
  • Gap during intercity road transit: 12–36 hours
  • Sorting delay at major hub: 4–24 hours
  • Post-delivery scan upload: 2–6 hours

If your parcel was booked within the last 24 hours OR is in intercity transit — wait and check again in 12 hours before taking any other action.

Fix 2: Check Your CN Number Format

Common

A wrong or mistyped CN number is the second most frequent cause of "no tracking data" errors. Common mistakes include misreading characters or copying from a blurry screenshot.

0 (zero) vs O (letter O)

Look closely at prefix letters — LCS CNs use letters, not zeroes.

Spaces in the CN

Remove all spaces. CNs are continuous strings with no spaces.

Missing prefix letters

Ensure the full CN including the "LCS" prefix is included.

Using a domestic CN for international

International shipments use a different CN format — check with your seller.

Cross-check the CN against your original booking SMS, Daraz order page, or seller receipt before trying other fixes.

Fix 3: Clear Your Browser Cache

Quick Fix

Sometimes your browser displays a cached (saved) version of the tracking page rather than fetching fresh data. Clearing the cache forces the browser to load the latest information.

Windows (Chrome / Edge)

Press Ctrl + Shift + Delete → Select "Cached images and files" → Click "Clear data"

Mac (Chrome / Safari)

Press Cmd + Shift + Delete → Select "Cached images and files" → Click "Clear data"

Mobile (Android / iPhone)

Go to browser Settings → Privacy → Clear browsing data → Select cache only

After clearing cache, reload the tracking page and search your CN again. Also try opening an incognito/private window as a quick alternative.

Fix 4: Check for Pakistan Public Holidays

Seasonal

Leopards Courier observes all major Pakistani public holidays. During these periods, hub sorting operations run at reduced capacity or are fully suspended, meaning tracking updates also pause.

Eid-ul-Fitr (3–5 days)
Eid-ul-Adha (3–5 days)
Youm-e-Azadi (14 August)
Iqbal Day (9 November)
Quaid Day (25 December)
Kashmir Solidarity Day

If a public holiday has occurred recently, wait for the next business day. LCS typically posts a service advisory on leopardscourier.com during major holiday periods.

Fix 5: Contact Your Seller

Reliable

Sellers who use Leopards Courier's corporate account have access to a dedicated backend portal with more detailed tracking information than the public-facing system. They may also be able to request a manual re-scan or status check through their LCS account manager.

When contacting the seller, provide them with:

  • Your CN number
  • Order date and expected delivery date
  • Last status showing on the tracker
  • Your delivery address and phone number

For Daraz orders, use the Daraz app dispute feature — Daraz has a dedicated LCS escalation channel that is often faster than calling LCS directly.

Fix 6: Call Leopards Helpline — +92 21 111 300 786

Direct Resolution

The LCS helpline is available 24/7 and can do a live manual CN lookup — bypassing the public tracking system. A helpline agent can tell you the exact physical location of your parcel, whether it is held at a hub, and why it may not have moved.

Fix 7: Visit Your Nearest LCS Branch

For Stuck Parcels

If the tracking shows your parcel arrived in the destination city days ago but has not moved to "Out for Delivery," it may be held at the local Express Centre due to an address issue, incomplete phone number, or unpaid freight charges.

Visiting in person is the fastest way to resolve a stuck parcel — branch staff can physically locate your parcel in their warehouse.

What to bring to the branch:

  • Your original CNIC / National ID Card
  • The CN number (written or on your phone)
  • Proof of purchase or seller receipt if available

Find your nearest Express Centre by city on leopardscourier.com. Most branches are open 9 AM – 6 PM, Saturday to Thursday.

When To Escalate to a Formal Complaint

If you have tried all the fixes above and your parcel is still missing or untracked, it may be time to file a formal complaint with LCS. Here's the escalation threshold:

No update for 5+ business days

File a formal complaint via leopardscourier.com

Status stuck at hub for 72+ hours

Call helpline AND visit the hub city branch

Parcel shows Delivered but not received

File a dispute immediately — within 24 hours of status change

Helpline agent cannot locate parcel

Ask for a supervisor and request a trace order

Frequently Asked Questions

Real fixes for the most common Leopards Courier tracking problems in Pakistan.

A 48-hour gap is common during intercity transit because LCS only scans parcels at physical hub checkpoints — there are no updates while the parcel is on the road. If the status has been stuck at the same hub for 48 hours without moving, that is abnormal. Call the LCS helpline at +92 21 111 300 786 for a manual CN lookup, or use our tracking guide to understand which status you are at and what to expect next.
Wait at least 24 hours after booking for the first scan, and up to 36 hours during intercity road transit. If the parcel has been at the same hub for more than 48 hours, or there has been no movement for 5+ business days, escalate immediately. Review expected delivery times by route to calibrate whether your wait is within the normal window for your specific origin–destination pair.
Yes, completely normal. "Booked" appears as soon as the seller generates the consignment note, but the first real scan only fires when the parcel arrives at the origin hub. This first scan can take 12–24 hours after booking, sometimes longer on weekends or peak sale days. See our full status guide for a breakdown of every LCS status code and the typical time between each one.
Five days on "In Transit" is beyond the normal delay window. Call the LCS helpline at +92 21 111 300 786 with your CN — an agent can do a live backend lookup. If they cannot locate the parcel, ask for a formal trace order to be raised. If no resolution within 2 business days, file a formal complaint with your CN and booking details to create an official case number.
LCS3 is the main Lahore sorting hub, and a 24–48 hour stay is normal due to high volume. Four days is not normal. Call the helpline and specifically mention "stuck at LCS3" so the agent can escalate to the hub team directly. Read our LCS3 hub guide for typical wait times, and find the physical facility address on our LCS branch locations page if you wish to visit in person.
During Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Adha, LCS operations are largely suspended for 3–5 days — parcel movement and tracking updates both pause and resume on the first post-Eid business day. During peak sale events (11.11, Black Friday), expect 2–4 extra business days for sorting. Check our delivery time estimates page for season-specific guidance on when to expect your parcel.
"Out for Delivery" means a rider has loaded your parcel but their route sequence is unpredictable. Delivery can happen any time between 9 AM and 8 PM. If the parcel has not arrived by 8 PM, call the LCS helpline to get the rider's contact number for your zone. If the rider attempted delivery and failed, check our failed delivery guide to learn what happens next and how to arrange a re-delivery.
Call the LCS customer helpline at +92 21 111 300 786, available 24/7. Press 1 for automated CN tracking, then 0 to reach a live agent for a manual backend lookup. Alternatively WhatsApp +92 300 8266786 during business hours. You can also find branch-specific contact numbers on our LCS contact page if you need to reach a specific city office directly.
Refunds are the responsibility of the shipper, not LCS directly. As a buyer, contact your seller — they hold the shipment contract and can file a compensation claim. To support that claim, file a formal complaint to create an official LCS case number with a timestamp. For Daraz orders, also raise a dispute through the Daraz app, which has a dedicated LCS escalation channel that often resolves cases faster.
This can happen when intermediate hub scans were not uploaded in real time and only synced to the system after delivery. If you physically received the parcel, the status is correct. If you did NOT receive it but tracking shows "Delivered," contact the helpline immediately and request proof-of-delivery — a recipient signature and GPS timestamp. You can also reference our status code guide to understand what "Delivered" technically records in the LCS system.
This happens when the seller generated the consignment note but the parcel has not yet been physically scanned by LCS at the origin hub. Ask the seller for the exact dispatch date and the official booking slip CN. If more than 48 hours have passed since the handover, ask the seller to contact their LCS account manager. You can also try tracking the CN on our homepage to confirm whether the number is valid and registered in the LCS system.
Act within 24 hours of the status change. Call the LCS helpline at +92 21 111 300 786 and request proof-of-delivery — LCS riders collect a signature or GPS photo at delivery. If the delivery record does not match your address or signature, formally dispute it and request a trace order. Then file a formal complaint immediately and notify your seller so they can file a parallel claim through their business account.
After one week without movement, a formal complaint is the correct next step. Visit our step-by-step complaint guide for exact instructions on what to submit and where. You will need your CN number, CNIC, booking date, and issue description. LCS is required to respond within 3 business days. Keep your complaint reference number — you will need it for any further escalation to consumer courts.
Yes, always. LCS hub scanners batch-upload data to the tracking system rather than syncing in real time. A physical scan at a hub can take 2–6 hours to appear online, and during high-volume periods this lag can stretch to 12 hours. The parcel is always physically ahead of what the tracking system shows. Review our tracking guide for a visual breakdown of how the LCS scan-to-update pipeline works.
Leopards Courier operates Monday through Saturday in most Pakistani cities. Sunday is a non-operational day — no sorting, no rider dispatch, and no tracking updates. If your last update was Saturday evening, the next movement will typically appear Monday morning. In some major cities limited Saturday operations occur, but Sunday is a rest day across the network. Check our delivery time page for city-specific working day information.
A tracking delay means the parcel is moving but scans are not uploading — typically resolves in 24–48 hours. A potentially lost parcel shows zero movement for more than 7 business days, and a helpline agent cannot locate it in the backend system. If you are unsure which situation you are in, check our LCS status guide to interpret the last recorded status, then call the helpline for a live backend check before assuming the parcel is lost.
LCS sends automated SMS notifications to the recipient's mobile number registered at booking — triggered at key status changes: dispatch from origin, arrival at destination hub, and out for delivery. If you are not receiving SMS alerts, confirm with your seller that the correct number was entered on the booking slip. The number cannot be changed after booking by the recipient — only the shipper can request a correction. See our tracking guide for alternative ways to monitor your shipment.
Yes. If the shipper entered an incorrect destination city or incomplete address at booking, the parcel can be routed to the wrong hub and tracking will reflect that wrong city. Contact your seller immediately — they must request a re-route correction from LCS, which can add 2–4 business days. You can look up the correct destination LCS branch on our branch locations page to confirm which hub your parcel should be heading to.
Leopards Courier's public tracking system typically displays consignment history for 90 days after the delivery date. After this period, the CN may return no results. If you need records for a dispute or insurance claim beyond 90 days, contact LCS customer support directly — backend records are retained longer than what the public page shows. You can always start a fresh tracking check on our home tracking tool to verify whether a CN is still searchable.
Seven business days with zero movement is a critical delay. Call the LCS helpline to confirm the parcel cannot be found in the backend, then file a formal written complaint to create an official case number. Notify your seller simultaneously so they can file a parallel compensation claim under the LCS terms of service. Keep all communication records — SMS, call logs, complaint reference numbers — as evidence if the case escalates further.
